Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, click here and the bonus read more terms, is at Trade The Day.
